The annual Ethical Finance Innovation Challenge and Awards (EFICA) returns in 2025 for the 7th time to inspire and assist initiatives that promote ethical Finance.
The Ethical Finance Innovating Challenge and Award (EFICA) has been running since 2013 with the single clear objective of recognizing companies and individuals who have developed ground-breaking solutions in the Isla mic finance industry.
The EFICA Awards is organized by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Partnership with London Stock Exchange Group - Data & Analytics.
The EFICA Awards in 2025 will focus on ethical finance, with awards up to USD 120,000 for the finalists.
Since the inception of the EFICA awards in 2013, and over a course of 6 editions, we have received over 450 applications from candidates that have truly changes the landscape of the ethical and Islamic financial landscape. The EFICA awards have shortlisted 24 truly unique initiatives to present at the EFICA gala dinner out of which 8 winners were collectively awarded over USD 1,000,000. In addition to that 5 true ethical and Islamic Finance leaders were recognized with the lifetime achievement award.
The award recognizes individuals and organisations that offer emerging and innovative ethical financial solutions or initiatives that have been successfully implemented and made a positive social impact for their stakeholders with a minimum operation track record of 2 years.
The EFICA Awards is organized by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and is in partnership with LSEG - Data & Analytics with an aim to continue the world’s first Ethical finance award to inspire and recognise fresh ways of thinking and promote the most dynamic actionable solutions that advance ethics in the world’s financial services businesses.
